Yas Storm Rescue Preparation
Trains canceled: In view of the safety of passengers due to Yas storm, the Railways has canceled all trains going from Delhi to Puri and Bhubaneswar till further orders. From Delhi, no train will leave Puri and Bhubaneswar for the next 3 to 4 days. However, these trains have been canceled for a few days.
Airforce ready for rescue: NDRF teams are also ready in view of the threat of storms on the eastern coast. The Air Force has airlifted the teams of NDRF. Currently, this team is located in the Red Zone areas of Kolkata in Bengal and Bhuneshwar in Odisha. If this force is needed, then this team will always be the next link for help. About 26 helicopters are placed on standby mode in the NDRF, which are ready to deal with any situation at all times.
